Can bees make poison honey?
If bees gather nectar from deadly plants like poison hemlock flowers, does the honey they make become contaminated?
The pollen is not poison... the toxins are contained in the plant sap, etc.
Bees can make poisonous honey. Its recommened to avoid honey from areas around pointsetta flowers, at the honey can be toxic.
