Do you believe in parallel universes, and why?
Please provide a full account of why you believe that there may or may not be a parallel universe.
You know, I'm not sure. I know that there is scientific research being done and there are theories that suggest that parallel universes do exist. I believe the quantum theory suggests that there could be many universes where we already exist in a different environment, for example.
Recently, I read an interesting article on Wikipedia. Here's the link to that, if anyone's interested.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse It kind of gives you some broad knowledge about where the theory originally came from and how today's scientists are viewing that theory.
I found it interesting to imagine that I could be in several places at once without realizing it...
I am beginning to begin to wrap my head around the concept of universes---parallel or otherwise, and beginning to consider the scientific plausibility of parallel universes. I am particularly interested in Brian Greene's parallel universes.

I believe that every action that could have more than one outcome can create a parallel universe. This is because each outcome is equal and as such they can and will all happen.

We were watching the news this morning and noted that the Hadron Collider had been cranked up a gear and was busy on it's quest for the creation of dark matter. (My husband obsesses with this and blames the collider for all sorts of natural disasters, much to my amusement.) Trying to...

An unusual subject line I expect! The theory of schrodinger's cat is a paradoxical thought experiment that illustrates the concept of parallel universes. It has a cat in sealed in a box of some sort with some sort of threat to that cats life sealed in as well like a poison or acid. This theory...

I had a dream last night which appears to be one of a series as the memories of it are tangled up with the past few days. Luckily I can recognise symbolic characters and things which tells me that this is coming from my subconcious BUT I could so easily have been persuaded that I was in a...
