Does putting a dead Li-ion battery in the freezer really help revive it?
If I put a lithium ion battery in the freezer, I heard it can help revive the battery. Is this true? If so, how does this work?
A Lithium-Ion battery does not "take a set" like the older battery technologies. That's one of its better properties. And, generally speaking, other than internal wiring connection problems, they operate to specifications right up to the point they are "dead". If yours is intermittent then I would consider getting rid of it. If it no longer holds a full charge, then I would suspect an internal leak and get rid of it.

Does it really kill your car battery to jump someone else's car?I heard that you may be doing harm to your own car's battery by helping someone jump start their car. Is this true? Why would that be the case?
