Is the United States Constitution a living document as some have put forth?
Hi Data! I would say yes - to an extent.
Why? Well, as time goes on, we amend the Constitution as we see fit, though admittedly a vast majority of proposed amendments do no go through. Additionally, the Supreme Court often reexamines the wording and exact meaning of laws with their cases, bringing new life to the same document.
This isn't to say that it's easy to change or reinterpret it, but it's definitely a piece of legislation capable of evolution.
