A Starling has flew in to my house, then upstairs... twice in just a few weeks.. ?

First one went into bathroom while I was hoovering the stairs, 2nd one few weeks later in to my bedroom whilst I was in the shower..
My Dad is poorly at the moment & has had a bad fall, I've looked all over internet for Starlings flying in to a house but can't find anything. All other birds are mentioned but not Starlings.. what does this mean Please?

It must have an easy way in, a door or window, perhaps a hole in the wall. Starlings will nest anywhere they find access.
My grandmother would say it to be a bad sign to have a bird in your house. I hope no bad luck is upon you.
