Bullfrogs are the largest frog in Louisiana. Even their tadpoles are enormous. They will eat just about anything that they can fit into their large mouths. Their deep jug-o-rum bass calls can be heard throughout the wetlands during the warm seasons of the year.
This is the frog whose legs are most commonly used in Cajun and Creole recipes like fried frog legs.
