Snow and Ice Removal Solutions

Updated on September 11, 2014

Tired of the Ice and Snow Yet?

This year has been horrible with the ice and snow. Every state has had some snow except Florida. Are you tired of having to shovel snow and chip ice? I will be showing you some new gadgets and devices to help you with your ice and snow removal. I feel for those of you that have had more snow and ice than normal this year.

This is a picture of my Dad (82) shoveling snow here in Virginia, IL. They had had 3 inches that morning early. He has a snow blower but prefers to go out and do it himself. Don't you hope you are able to go out like that when you are in your mid 80's?

Remote Control Snow Plowing

This cute little machine will clean the sidewalks and driveway for you while you sit where it is warm and cozy. You can even do this in the middle of a blizzard and stay toasty. This 90 pound remote control robot can clear up to five inches of snow with its 26 inch blade. It can push about 125 pounds. It operates on a 12 volt battery with a wireless, hand-held remote even a kid can use. And, it can be yours for a mere $1300-$1400. Go here to find out more about this wonderful gadget: The PlowBot

The Snow Wovel - Alternate to Normal Snow Shoveling

If you have tried any snow removal gadgets, don't forget to add them to the voting plexo above.

Since when I moved to Denmark, two years ago, I had to deal with a lot of snow, and I was not used to, as in Rome it never snows!!! So.... I would love to have all the gadgets you showed!!!! Who knows, maybe I´ll try one, in future!!!

Now a Plowbot is new to me and what a wonderful innovation. I've used a regular snow blower and a snow brum works well. Its been too hot in Fatgoe so a little cold weather sounds good. Too bad it comes with so much ice and snow.

Plowbot would be great for large areas and snowfalls. We have some snow on the island but the rain usually washes it away. There is always lots up the mountain where my dad has another home. He could use one of these plowbots! Thanks for your info.

Wow...the plow bot is pretty strange. I have visions of these spoiled kids sitting in the warm house with the plow bot remote control complaining how hard shoveling snow is. Great lens!

Nice article. I am one of the Floridian who was glad to not have snow lol. Even though we have had some 20 degree days. If it had been raining we would have seen white for sure. Blessed by a SquidAngel. You are featured on Home and Garden SquidAngel.
