Stand out from the crowd with a locker chandelier!

Updated on June 27, 2014

When I was in school, the dinosaurs ruled the land - ok, not really, but, when I was in school, the best locker decorations we had were posters of David Cassidy, The Beach Boys, etc. There was not a cool locker decoration to be found - we were just born too early to enjoy the fun decorations available today, like, for example, that Locker Lookz Glam Rock Locker Chandelier you see there in the picture to the right.

I was surprised to find the plethora of school locker decorations available. It's so easy now to stand out from the crowd by just performing a few school locker modifications. Hang up some locker wallpaper, add a few baskets to collect your hair clips, pens or whatnots, add a locker rug, and you're off and running.

I particularly like the idea of buying a multitude of patterns and colors. That way, you can keep your locker fresh each semester just by switching stuff out. You can even swap locker decorations with your friends for the best use of your (and her) money.

The Glam Rock Locker lamp to the right there has a heavy duty magnet to hold it to the top of your locker. It also has an automatic on/off switch so, open your locker and, voila, it's on. Close your locker and it goes off. The LED light is very bright and will save on the battery life of your locker chandelier.

So, why not get started early this year with your school supplies? Below are some other items on Amazon.com that might make your locker personalization easy and fun. Now, what are you waiting for? Get shopping!

BTW, here's a few more articles on locker decorations you might enjoy:

If you're going to buy a locker chandelier, you might as well go all the way with these other great locker decorations. All of these are on Amazon.com and have received 4 out of 5 stars or better in reviews.

Here's a few good videos about locker decorations - some are do-it-yourself which will probably make your parents happy....

This young girl has some great ideas for decorating lockers. I love the half locker she has with the curtains!

Another great video for back to school locker decorations.

I particularly like that this girl uses dollar store finds to decorate her locker.

Are you a bling girl who just has to have a decorated locker? I sure would be.

What's your favorite locker decoration? Please leave me comments as I love to hear from my readers.

We had a few things like magnetic locker mirrors when I was in school that we could buy. And at my junior high we were provided pre-cut bits of wood (which I guess came from the wood shop class) that we could use quickly assemble into shelves that fit our lockers perfectly. That was nice.

This is not a decoration, but my sister had a friend who kept a bowling ball in his locker...it would get pulled out during lunch time and you'd see this bowling ball rolling down the halls of school. That was funny.

I wish we'd had something like that when I was in school. Heck I was always losing things in my locker, because it was in a particularly dark part of the old school I went to. If I could have had a chandelier, I wouldn't have had to buy so many pencils and hairpins. hahahaha!
