Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 2, Episode 4: Face My Enemy -Review
This one is a lot of fun. A nice change of pace from the more intense and darker previous episode. A lot of things happen here. From the actual mission itself for the painting, to the interactions of the various SHIELD personnel. We also see a completely different side of the Coulson/May dynamic. We first see Hyrda's face changing tech, which I imagine is going to be a thing from now on. We didn't really learn anything about the Hydra personnel themselves, other than that Whitehall can be very intimidating. The Coulsan/May party scenes are hilarious. The Fitz ones heartbreaking and heartwarming. Some awesome fight scenes, particularly May vs May. As I've said before AoS is not as good at action as some other shows but then that's not really the point of the show. This is a sci-fi spy show, first and foremost. With character interaction and relationships after that, and action a distant third. When I accept that, and stop expecting another superhero show, I enjoy it much more.
