Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 2, Episode 5 A Hen in the Wolf House -Review
This episode is epic. A lot of hardcore things happen. Skye is annoying and undisciplined through the whole thing, but she does have a quality family tragedy moment at the end. Fitz is sweet, and we like seeing him come out of his shell some. Bobbi is beautiful, and bad-ass, and I was thrilled when I heard she was joining the cast. Had no idea prior to this that she was actually Hunter's ex...laughed so hard. Wondering how that's going to work out if they try and bring all of Bobbi's romances into the MCU. Will mean a lot of agent and/or superhero awkward moments. For those who may not know, Bobbi is the superhero Mockingbird in the comics, and spent much of her career dating and married to Hawkeye. Skye's Pa is scary. I'm pretty sure I know who he is, from the comics, but I'm not sure exactly what his story and origins will be here.
Skye's dad teaming up with Hydra I didn't see coming, as he seemed to hate them as much as SHIELD, but it kind of makes logical sense. Still wondering if Raina will be spared by by Hydra and him, now.
There is a wonderful, heart wrenching hugs and feels scene with Skye and Coulson towards the end of the episode. Very well done.
