Updated on August 13, 2015

1. Lewis Watson

This 22 years old boy, born in Oxford in the UK is on my top 5 list of favourite singers. His pop/folk/acoustic style will take you from a place to another with his deep lyrics. I've discovered him on 8tracks, years ago, and I instantly fell in love with his voice and his guitar.

Favourite Tracks

  • Into the Wild
  • Stay
  • Windows
  • Close
  • Droplets feat. Gabrielle Aplin

2. Nina Nesbitt

Nina Nesbitt is a scottish singer/songwriter. She has different styles of music : Folk, pop, acoustic and sometimes rock. She's usually playing the guitar in her songs and while she sings. She's friend with the most popular british ginger haired singer Ed Sheeran (His song "Nina" is about their relationship).

Favourite Tracks

  • Boy
  • Selfies
  • The Hardest Part
  • Stay Out
  • The Apple Tree

3. James Bay

Born in Hitchin, James Bay is a british singer/songwriter/guitarist. I would describe his music by indie rock/pop. What I like about him is that he can sing a super energic song with drums, electric guitars and a choir and then you change to the next track and you have the most emotional, sad song with his husky voice and only his acoutic guitar. Definately one of my favourite singers of all time.

Favourite Tracks

  • Let It Go
  • Clocks Go Fowards
  • Collide
  • Incomplete
  • Hold Back The River

4. Gabrielle Aplin

Gabrielle Ann Aplin was born on October 10th 1992 in Bath, UK. She has capted attention from many people with her covers that she posted on Youtube and she slowly became famous. She plays the piano, the guitar and also drums ( and singing of course!). I've known her for many years and I still love her music and when one of her songs comes out, I'm in the first ones who has already listened to her track!

Favourite Tracks

  • Ghosts
  • Panic Cord
  • Let Me in
  • Home
  • Please Don't Say You Love Me

5. Passenger

From all of the singers I mentionned in this Hub, Passenger is my favourite. Born in Bright and Hove (South Sussex, England), Mike Rosenberg is a british singer/songwriter/guitarist. His first single Let Her Go became worldwide and made him famous instantly. Passenger has 7 albums and some other songs that don't figure in his albums. His unique voice and his incredible guitar skills make him the most talented artist according to myself.

Favourite Tracks

  • Beautiful Birds
  • Coins in a Foutain
  • The Way It Goes
  • Whispers
  • Words

6. Stu Larsen

I didn't find many information about Stu Larsen. As I often say, I think there's 27 people in the entire world who knows him! He was born in Australia and he's also homeless, yes you heard right, homeless! He sleeps on his friend's couches when he's not on tour. I've discovered him because of Passenger, cause he's one of his friends and they often sing together! Their voices are very similar and it seemed obvious that I would like Stu Larsen's voice! Larsen has an album out : Vagabond.

Favourite Tracks

  • Thirteen Sad Farewells
  • San Francisco
  • Far Away From Here
  • On My Heart
  • Skin & Bones

7. The 1975

The 1975 was formed in Manchester in 2004. The band consist of Matthew Healy (vocals/guitar), Adam Hann (guitar), Ross Macdonald (bass) and George Daniels (drums/backing vocals). I personnaly consider them as a rock band but they also have indie songs. Their album The 1975 was No.1 in the UK and Scottland, 4th in Ireland and 5th in New-Zeland. I can't help but stomp my feet when one of their songs comes out!

Favourite Tracks

  • Chocolate
  • Sex
  • The City
  • Robbers

8. Tom Odell

This english singer/songwriter will definately give you chills! Tom Odell won the Brit Critic's Choice Award in 2013.
