Over the years, legendary R & B singers such as Sam Cooke, Al Green, Barry White, and Luther Vandross have sung many timeless romantic classics to set the mood right. Each decade (and or era) has produced its share of hits. Whether it’s the 70’s and Heatwave’s “Always and Forever” or the 80’s “Here and Now” by Luther Vandross, these songs will stand the test of time. They will be passed down from generation to generation.

The nineties were a great time for many hit factories such as Jodeci. Here is a listing of 20 of the best quiet storm / slow jam songs. You will especially be able to appreciate this list if you thirty years and older.

Cruisin was nice! D'Angelo did a great job of remaking Smokey's song.

Hey, Trey Songz is only doing what he knows. The new school katz can't do it like they used to. Times were just so different back then. Its my generation's and my parents generation's fault for not schoolin them on what romance is.
