5 Movies whose lead actress I found most attractive

Updated on August 8, 2011

Introduction

I was reluctant to use the words hottest actress or sexiest because not all of the women in this list of movies would necessarily fall under those exact categories for the roles each played in the movie. Attractive seemed to be the best word to use in the case of this hub. In each of the five movies below I found the lead actress would belong in a top 5 list such as this one, so here they are, not in any order.

Mikaela Banes

Megan Fox plays Mikaela Banes in the first two Transformers movies. The scene with her checking Sam's car near the beginning of the movie has every guy riveted. Sam's reaction and Bumblebee's music choices before and after all this make it a very entertaining part of the movie. Mikaela's tough exterior and her softness for Sam gives her a mention in this hub.

Sil

Natasha Henstridge plays Sil in the sci-fi thriller Species. In this movie, Sil is the byproduct of an alien DNA combined with a human embryo. She grows at an astronomical rate, escapes the compound where she was 'born' and eventually becomes an adult who is on the quest for a mate to procreate. This hunt for a mate has her killing various males before she finds the right one as the first ones she finds are all deficient for one reason or another. This seductive behaviour is what earns Sil a spot in this hub.

Rose DeWitt Bukater

Kate Winslet plays Rose in that very popular movie called Titanic. As most people have seen this movie I am sure you know who I am talking about. The internal battle she has between the life that is expected of her and the new found love she has for Jack who introduces her to the possibility of another life gives her a heart warming vulnerability. That she portrayed the stately woman perfectly and also played the part of a lower deck woman so well is what includes her in this hub.

Quorra

Olivia Wilde plays Quorra in Tron Legacy. Quorra has a terrific costume, excellent fighting skills and a charming and innocent personality to match. Her banter with Sam throughout the film and especially her question about Sam having met Jules Verne was so delightfully charming, Wilde did a terrific job in bringing Quorra to light. The movie ends with her riding on the back of a motorcycle with Sam, and her seeing the real world and the sun for the first time; this performance of an ISO is so sweet and is what has her mentioned in this hub.

Lara Croft

Angelina Jolie plays Lara Croft in Tomb Raider. I had a bit of trouble picking out a fifth when this one came to mind. The scene in the movie where she has to contort to go through a laser-secured room is what has many guys salivating. Angelina's dexterity, strength and balance really bring Lara Croft to life.

Conclusion

Are there any movies that you would add if you had a list of movies like this? I am sure there are many, but these five are likely close to the top of my top 10 of such movies.
