50 shades of Grey, no thank you.

Updated on March 7, 2015

Just saying no, no thank you.

I can't comply with millions of people.

Now I know there is going to be millions of people who are into the whole 50 Shades of Grey, but I am sorry, that is not something I really am interested in.

I can not follow the flow of what is always "in" and "now", it is not my thing and never was.

I have no desire to see the film or read the books what so ever.

I know, I believe to each their own and may all those that are into it, may you all enjoy what your into.

I just couldn't get into 50 Shades of Grey what so ever, even though everytime I say that I am not into the latest of whatever it maybe, a film, a pocketbook, a style of clothing, there will always be someone who will bring up something and try to turn into something positive.

I really didn't like any of the Twilight films. Yes I gave them a chance, but didn't watch the last Twilight, once again I just wasn't into it.

I mean, when you admit openly when you not into the NEXT big thing that is going on, it is like you have three heads upon your shoulder or you are branded with the scarlet letter a, on the front of your shirt if you openly admit that you are just not into what millions of people are into.

If I did say I am interested in it, I would be going a long with millions of people.

Let me say I have nothing against the actors and more than likely I probably will like them in another film. Believe that has happened with me before, I didn't like something someone was in but liked a different film and actor or actress was in.

I don't like anything to be programmed or pushed upon me and have to make up my mind just because a million people like something, it just isn't me.

I think we should be allowed to like what we like in life and enjoy what we love, without having to have people think because we don't like what millions of people like, it doesn't make us strange, it is just what we like and we are not going a long with what other people like, just cause they like it.

I did view the trailer at least and I already know a trailer does not always do a film justice, but in this case I just rather spend my time watching indie films and watching what I like and enjoy.

The good thing about not having a t.v. and be selective in watching and picking my own things that I like and want to watch, I don't have to see the saturation of tons of commercials of 50 Shades of Grey and that is why I am glad I am not paying to have to sit through tons of tv ads or ads in general of something I have no interest in seeing what so ever.

I mean, come on, there really are talented film makers out there that make great films and yes I already know that main stream film is a business and the girl that is the lead, mother and father are already famous so of course is going to draw a little bit attention to the film already.

Who knows, maybe I am going to truly enjoy a film with the people who star in 50 Shades of Grey in another film, once again I am repeating myself but that could happen.

The lead is not a bad looking guy, but he is not really a guy that I would be attracted to at all, well maybe not the actor but the character in the film.

I already know that an actor is not the character they portray in the film, so the lead actor probably really is a good guy, it is just that I am not into what some of the film is about and if this is suppose to be a turn on for millions of people who are watching the film, I got to say the whole story line is a complete turn off for me.

Once again, I say to those that enjoy the film enjoy it but it totally does not do anything for me.

50 Shades of Grey is a total turn off for me and does not get me sexually excited or anything because it actually does the opposite and doesn't excite me, and actually if I was interested in being intimate with someone, I think I was going to watch the film, well I think I think it will kill my sex drive and want me to never have sex again.

So 50 Shades of Grey does not sexually arouse me what so ever.

Again, anyone that reads this, if you enjoy the film or the books I am not saying for you not to enjoy what you love and if you like 50 Shades of Grey more power to what you love.

I am not sorry to say, but I can not get into what a lot of people into.

I am not sure how long the whole 50 Shades of Grey passing fad is going to last.

I am not sure even how this film really got to be mainstream because when I seen some trailers to some well written stories, I just sit and wonder how are those films not mainstream.

But then again, I already know the answer no one has to tell me.

Money.

It is what controls a lot of things and I think if some of the film makers that are indie had even a fraction of what it took to make 50 Shades of Grey, we would see some wonderful films be made mainstream.

Yes, oh yes, it is all about the money.

Well yeah that's the whole thing right there money. Believe me I wish I did have the money to see some films get just as much as attention as the 50 Shades of Grey film would get.

Who am I to say, what films should rule?

All I can say, I will always know the things I like and 50 Shades of Grey will never be one of those things that I will ever like.
