Even The New York Times calls Ms.Minaj and “The PinkPrint Tour”, at the helm of being “The best Hip-Hop Tour lineup of the year”. Following the release of Nicki’s third LP; “The PinkPrint” debuted at No.1 on Top R&B and Hip-Hop Albums charts. Day one fans, and fans from across the globe filled the Barclay Center Arena, leaving the world to experience ‘The Queen of Rap’. All set to perform with Nicki, was Dej Loaf, Rae Sremmud, Tinashe and Meek Mill, with a surprise appearance from Nicki’s mentor and dear friend “Weezy”. Weezy literally killed the stage rapping ‘Glory’ from his latest album “Free Weezy”, along with ‘A Milli’ and ‘6foot 7foot’.

The newest XXL Freshman Dej Loaf opened the show promptly at 7pm, performing ‘Be real’, ‘Try Me’and ‘Post to be’, where Dej lit the night up early. Tinashe shortly took the stage; giving a sexy performance of her song ‘On a wave’ which features Drake on the track. ’Drop that Kitty’ and ‘All hands on Deck’ brought the crowd to their feet as Tinashe slowly grinds on stage with her dancers. Nicki Performs 'Anaconda'
“I aint go no type, bad b*%#es is the only thing that I like”, ….” Cups with the ice and we do this every night” . Once Rae Sremmud hit the stage the Turn up was real; the two rapping sensations came out roaring, “No type” which is one of Rae Sremmud most notable songs. Their performance was one of the highlights of “The PinkPrint Tour”. “My Ex”, “This could be us” and “Throw some more”, were just a few of songs the duo massacred on stage. But All Eyes were on “Omeeka”, Nicki and her baby Meek made it vividly transparent the love they share is real. Meek Mill took the stage after Rae Sremmud, where the set changed and viewed a city’s skyline, Meek opened with ‘Lord Knows’, the energy in the room was live. Yo Gotti also came out to perform a song with Meek. Throughout the set Meek gave credence and respect to the Kings and Legends of Rap, shouting out Jayz, Biggie and Tupac, Even asking the audience to put their phones in the air as a sign to remember lost ones who are gone. The crowd followed along as Meek began to perform his song “ Miss my Dawgs” a tribute to Chinx and Snupe. No shade given to the fact that, Meek Mill gave the audience just what was anticipated, boldly restating his Comments about Drake not writing his verse. Meek mentioned that he heard ‘Charged Up’ calling it soft. Meek assured us that he is from the hood, and had to work his way up, writing his own material. Nevertheless, Meek has made it known that he is able to rock even through some of the hardest times in his life, with his loyal fans spitting every line he rapped.
“Yo, I had to reinvent, I put the V in-vent, I put the heat in vents, man, I've been competing since, I look beyond what people saying, and I see intent, Then I just sit back, and decipher what they really meant”..
Nicki Minaj took the stage, ‘All things go’was the first song of the night was followed by ‘I lied’ from Ms. Minaj. In that moment chills could be felt throughout the room from everyone singing along, in realization that ‘The PinkPrint’ is undoubting one of Nicki’s most personal projects.
Repping Queens all day, Nicki shouts out to the every borough of NY and takes it back to her first DVD. Even telling the crowd of a story about how back in the day she went to a store and asked how much pink hair they had, with enough to put on the back layer of her hair, Nicki rocked with it and made her DVD.
Nicki & Meek Kiss performing, 'All Eyes on You'
In the midst of ‘The PinkPrint Tour’ Nicki states to live your dreams and reassured the crowd that what ever you can think in your mind you can physically do, “there is nothing that you can’t do”. As the night continued Nicki performed, her infamous and perhaps most groundbreaking verse.....
“Pull up in the monster automobile, gangsta, With a bad b*&@h that came from Sri Lanka, Yeah I'm in that Tonka color of Willy Wonka, You could be the king but watch the queen conquer, OK, first things first I'll eat your brains, Then I'm a start rocking gold teeth and fangs; Cause that's what a motherf*#@ing monster do!!!!” Nicki killed the stage with her Monster Verse.
In its entity the experience of the "The PinkPrint" tour was a moment for Life. Not to mention one of the most defining points on the night was the heart-felt love that was felt from Meek and Nicki. The Crowd lifted off their chairs when the two shared a kiss on stage as they performed ‘Buy a heart’ & ‘All Eyes On Us’. Bringing the night to a close.
