Actors Who Work Well Together

This list comprises male and female actors that work well together as couples in the movies or on tv shows. Whether is be their chemistry or something else, we have loved seeing these couples light up the screen in their notable roles. Sometimes when they act on screen together, it is so successful and so notable that they do some kind of reuniting on screen in another project, at a later time. Most often, the first project we saw them act together in is the most unforgettable one. But we can't blame the second pairing because, there were so many fireworks the first time around, why not give it another go?

If you love comedy, you'll love to see Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore acting together. They seem to have a wonderful on-screen chemistry. The comedies that star the two of them together are really fun to watch.

-The Wedding Singer

Adam Sandler plays a wedding singer and Drew Barrymore plays are waitress/ hostess at wedding receptions. The two are in a truly fun movie with a laugh at every turn.

-50 First Dates

Drew plays a woman that loses her short term memory every time she wakes up a subsequent day. It's not easy to go through that when you are in love and forget all about the person you love. Adam plays that person and he goes through some creative ventures help his girlfriend remember him. I especially love the ending of this movie.

This on-screen couple is truly amazing. According the the Calgary Herald, Kate Winslet has said '"I would happily work with Leo every year for the rest of my life."'

-Titanic

This 1997 film takes us on the journey of the events of the Titanic while focusing on a love story between Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's characters, Rose and Jack.

-Revolutionary Road

This film is set in the 1950s and was filmed in Connecticut and New York locations. It is the story of a couple living in "surburbia", raising two children and wanting more. They feel like they have not lived up to their potentials individually and are somewhat unfulfilled.

-Pretty Woman

Pretty Woman was a romantic fairytale of the unconventional sort. A rich businessman, Edward, played by Richard Gere falls in love with a prostitute, Vivian, played by Julia Roberts. Despite everything, this movie tugs at your heart and you find yourself rooting for Edward and Vivian. There are lots of twists and turns. Vivian tells her best friend that she wants to better herself and maybe go back to high school, saying, "I got pretty good grades in high school." This film is on the list of all time favorites for many people. Love triumphs.

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere reunited for the film Runaway Bride about a bride with a track record of leaving men at the altar

- The Cosby Show

Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad were truly a treasured on-screen couple. Millions of viewers tuned in to see them. The Cosby Show has a long run, from 1984-1992 and is etched in the memory of many as one of their all-time favorite shows. The show starred Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad as the Huxtables, parents in a fairly large household. Phylicia Rashad played Claire, a lawyer and Bill Cosby played Cliff, an obstetrician. The children in the show were Sabrina LeBeauf as Sandra, Lisa Bonet as Denise, Tempest Bledsoe as Vanessa, and Kiesha Knight Pulliam as Rudy. Raven-Symone later joined the cast as Denise's stepdaughter, Olivia.

- Cosby

Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad worked together again as Hilton Lucas and his wife Ruth, in a later series, Cosby, from 1996 to 2000. Hilton Lucas was laid off from his job and within the plot of the show, the couple deals with the trials of that.

-Little Bill

Little Bill was one of Bill Cosby's many projects, an animated tv series. Phylicia Rashad participated as the voice of Little Bill's mother.
