Adventure Time: A Character Guide

Meet the Adventure Time characters during their explosive adventures through the Land of Ooo.

Finn is a brave 14 year old who's always looking for the next adventure, monster or mystery. Armed with a sword, his friends at his side and a strong sense of justice, Finn is an unstoppable force and a friend to the people of Ooo. Finn was adopted as a baby by Jake's parents, and has no idea who his parents are or whether there are even any other humans out there.

Jake the dog is not only Finn's best friend, but also his adoptive brother. Jake has the magical power to make his body stretch into nearly any shape and nearly any size, although there are limits to how far he can stretch. Jake claims he got his powers from falling into an enchanted puddle, but, most likely, he doesn't even remember where or when he got them. He's a lot less focused than Finn, but still loves adventuring with him.

Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum is the ruler of the Candy Kingdom. She spends her free time working on her scientific experiments and hanging out with Finn and Jake. Finn has a not-so-secret crush on Bubblegum, but, at least partly because she's in her late teens and Finn is only 14, she doesn't return his feelings. Still, she considers Finn and Jake two of her closest friends.

Beemo, or BMO, is a little computer with a Korean accent that lives in the treehouse with Finn and Jake. Beemo not only has a video game system to entertain Finn and Jake, but also has a video camera, a regular camera, a VCR and various other gadgets. Beemo doesn't seem to have a gender, which would make sense considering that Beemo is a computer.

The Ice King is a crazy, princess-obsessed wizard with control over ice and snow. Although powerful, the Ice King's incompetence and childish attitude often stops him from getting what he wants which, more often than not, is one of Ooo's many princesses. Due to his constant kidnappings, he's made enemies of Finn and Jake.

Marceline the Vampire Queen is a thousand-year-old rocker that loves jamming with Finn and Jake. At first, Marceline pretended to be evil to mess with Finn and Jake, but since then they've become close friends. Instead of drinking blood, Marceline will just suck the red out of objects.
