Agents of SHIELD Season 1 Episode 1: Pilot -Review

The very first episode. I was so happy when I learned there would be a Marvel Cinematic Universe tie in show. Even more so when I learned Whedon and Clark Gregg would be involved. The show ended up becoming one of my favorite current shows.

This episode is a great setup for the series.Loved it the first time I watched it. Had a lot of questions. Like who is Mike Peterson? Who is Skye? Wondering if any of the main characters were based on comic characters.What exactly is happened to Coulson? This episode has a lot of hilarious moments. Laughed my ass off. There was also several dramatic heart tugging moments. I like all the characters in this first view of them. They all grew on me, even Ward. Fitz is my favorite character, and I came to care about them all. My favorite scene was probably the end where they ice Mike instead of killing him. Was so stoked waiting for the next one. I wish the Avengers knew Coulson was still alive, but 7 years later, and they still don't. Really wanted to see that reunion on screen, but we may never see it, now that AoS has been considered non-canon in Marvel tv and movies going forward. Sigh.
