Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Episode 7: The Writing On the Wall -Review
Very dramatic episode. Lots of reveals. Rogue agent Ward is bad ass, and seeing him take down some Hydra dudes is fun. The back story about the Tahiti project is interesting and fills in more of the giant connected tapestry that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I would go on for a few paragraphs talking about the epic reveals, but I really don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't already seen it. This is an entertaining, riveting episode that is important to the overall story. Ward and Coulson both have great character moments. And this is a turning point episode from the first arc of the season, into what will happen up until the mid season break. The acting is good, and all the actors now fully know who their people are. The first season was amazing, but was also obviously still getting things together and doing a slow build into the MCU as a whole. This season, everyone is full on epic biz mode, and everything is back to back awesomeness.
Overall: 9
