Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Episode 9: Ye Who Enter Here

Updated on January 2, 2015

Amazing episode. So much drama, so much build up to Skye meeting her dad, so much build up to the mid season finale. Really wish they didn't have them, so I wouldn't have to wait a few months to see what happens. I was literally in a bit of a fit in anticipation the whole week after this episode. I think this show may be one of the first to ever do that to me. To be fair though, there are only a few shows I actually follow as they air. Most I just wait to see the whole thing on Netflix or DVD. There are a few things that don't make sense here, like SHIELD not killing all the Hydra agents they take down here, especially Agent 33. Also doesn't make sense that Hydra has all this ultra tech, but can't fix 33's face. Maybe they just haven't had the free time, I guess. Again, I so want to comment on so many things, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. I may come back and write a fuller review/synopsis after a few years have gone by. The Fitz Simmons non-romance is charming and frustrating at the same time. Will they ever... Bobbi and Hunter being a thing again I sort of saw coming, but still was a bit surprised by it. And now after this episode I'm wondering so hard what she's hiding from him about her "side projects".

All around good one. Anticipation for what is about to happen is as epic as what actually happens. I want to see how this story ends, and never want it to end.

Overall: 9
