A Few Pieces of Amazing Star Wars Fan Art

Updated on March 3, 2016

With the rise of the internet and sites such as tumblr and deviantart, fan art has become a massively popular way for fans to express and share their love of a franchise. Star Wars is one of the most popular franchises in the world so it would only make sense that there would be a plethora of Star Wars fan art on the internet. In this article I've collected some of the best that I've found around the internet, but this is by absolutely no means an exhaustive list.

Artist Skirtzzz describes this art of Rey from The Force Awakens as using an "art nouveau" style because they wished to do something different from their usual style. I'd say it payed off.

The above pieces are a collection of works by Czech artist Quintus Cassius depicting different characters and locations from the Star Wars universe.

People really do love making artwork of Rey, above is a fantastic piece by dandonfuga.

These are just two pieces from an amazing gallery of work on concept artist Tysen Johnson's website.

Maz Kanata is definitely an intriguing figure in the new Star Wars films and this art by Alexandre Leoni perfectly captures her spirit.

This art by Blues Design depicts Obi-Wan during his exile on Tatooine between Episodes III and IV.
