Battlestar Galactica Season 4

Updated on May 5, 2008

You can find the latest news about the Final Season of Battlestar Galactica on this page. New information will be added periodically and you can navigate from the newest episodes at top to the oldest ones at the bottom.

In Episode 5 we look at the journey of Demetrius with Captain Starbuck, and her crew having problems of sharing her dreams. In the deep space they find a wrecked ship with Leoben inside. Leoben wants help from Starbuck as he is defeated by his "Savage Brothers", we will see if that is a sincere alliance demand or just another twisting mind trick of Leoben.

The fourth episode of Battlestar Galactica is a classical "filler episode". The script writers are trying to cool down the heat and move the story in different directions. In this episode we are seeing Gaius Baltar making his stand as a prophet and he is more effective with religious power than he was with political power.

Chief loses his nerves with the loss of his wife Cally, knowing that he's no human anymore he can't feel like a human. Saul Tigh is un-comfortable with himself and he thinks he can learn the way of relieving his soul only from a cylon.

In episode 3 we see Starbuck on her mission to find the earth but things are not so easy when she is trying to hold her new "Demetrius" crew in order when the mission is to follow a dream.

Lee Adama starts his career as a politician and shows president Roslin that he isn't just a cute boy to hold on her side.

Things were much easier for the cylons when their mission was to end the human race. The cylon race is more and more like humans now that they are killing their own race.

The four cylons in Battlestar Galactica shows their cylon blood in this episode and giving signs of nightmares Battlestar Galactica will face on following episodes.

The second episode of the final season is a classical transition episode we are familiar with from previous Battlestar seasons. The heat of the first episode is cooled down and the pieces start fit into place and we have a view of the setting for the final season.

The doubt of Starbuck being a cylon moves her to cell and she is abondened on her feelings for earth. Gaius is being watched by four cylons in case he knows something. The most important event is to see cylons breaking apart. Brother Cavil suggests brain modification to the Raiders while Model Six wants to prevent from playing with the God's plans. She releases the Centurion's limit chips and we will see Cylon armies actually thinking and fighting with each other on the next episodes.

Review: The first episode of final season of Battlestar Galactica has been broadcasted on scifi channel on April 4 and after this long long delay the producers has given us (the fans) what we wish for.

The visual effects are far more better, even than Razor. The Battlestar Galactica Season 4 has started with head spinning space wars, mind confusing Cylon acts and spirutal events coming on.

Starbuck is back in Battlestar, Apolla is back in his uniform, Gaius is with his people again. The 4 cylons who don't know which side to serve. The first episode is only a sign of how great the final season will be.

Preview: The name of first episode is revealed at scifi channel and the episode is annouced with the tag:

"The thin line that seperates humanity from rapidly evolving Cylons is redrawn, as Starbuck returns from the dead with claims that she has found earth."
