Be a "One Man Band" with Boss RC-3 Loop Station Pedal
Boss RC-3 Loop Station Pedal
As a musician, it is my passion to create music and write songs. It is a great feeling to pour out your soul into a musical piece. I enjoy collaborating and jamming with my friends because we do have the same common musical interests. We share ideas and play different musical renditions of different musical genres.
But there are times when your friends which you consider “band mates” aren’t available to play music with you. For me, it’s lonely to play music all alone.
As I strum my guitar with my fingertips, I want someone accompanying my guitar string’s rhythmic beats with other instruments. I want bass lines and percussive rhythms to play along with me.
Aside from playing guitar, I also play various musical instruments like the bass, piano, bongos, African djembe, different percussive instruments, flute, recorder, fife, and harmonica to name a few. Ever since I was younger, I like to showcase my musical abilities with different instruments in a single musical piece. I always have the craving to express my artistic juices. The pursuit of creative expression has always been my long-time passion.
But is it possible to create music with different variety of instruments on a single musical piece without the expense of your fellow musicians?
The answer is Yes!
Back then, in order for you to have a full band, you need to invite your friends to play along with you. That’s a great thing as you share different musical ideas with them. But some people like to have full control of creating their musical masterpieces.
Today, it is virtually possible for someone to be an instant “one-man band” with a one-of-a-kind musical gadget. This device is called the Boss RC-3 Loop Station Pedal.
If you’re a “loner type” of musician and prefer to play alone yet want to have the “full band” experience, now it is possible using the Boss RC-3 Loop Station Pedal.
The main idea is to create sequences of loop recordings. For instance, as you grab your guitar. You can play the rhythm part and record it. It will be converted as a “loop”. Then you can record the lead guitar part, then the backup vocals. If you have various forms of instruments like a violin or saxophone, you can create an endless combination of musical patterns. This is where the magic begins, these loop recordings will play in synchronized a pattern. The sound of a “full band” has been created.
