The DMV Dance Kings
Are you unfamiliar with Beating Your Feet?? Most people are. This latest dance craze has taken over the DMV area. It started in Washington, D.C. as a dance also known as the "Twirk" but they twisted it up and made it their own.
The Beat Ya Feet Kings are going strong and representing the Nation's Capitol on the MTV dance show, "America's Best Dance Crew". The shows voter's seem to love the newest dance craze because the first show they almost did not make it, but now they are one of the favorites on ABDC.
These are some very creative and positive youngsters who have created a style that is all their own. The members are all from the DMV area. They include the only girl in the group, Porche "Queen" Anthony, 22, Richard "Richboy" Ogunsiakan, 24, Dante "Styles" Hancock, 24, Brandon "Locks" Faulker, 23. and Jose AKA Footz.
They have been on The Apollo stage and did their thing there also. If you need to get a feel for The Beet Ya Feet Kings then they also have a Myspace page that shows them in their own light. It is good that their is finally something positive on the T.V. screen that says good things about the young people of the District of Columbia. Good Luck Guys. Keep it up and don't give up. Yall have the spotlight on you so no matter what yall will go a lot of places.
