Beau Peep Comic Books

Beau Peep is a popular comic strip, shown in the Uk in the Daily Star.

Its written by a Roger Kettle & Andrew Christine.

Its all about the adventures of the Beau Peep who is a reluctant legionnaire, in the french foreign legion.

He has a friend called Dennis, who has the brain of a goldfish, and can't read.

However, life is still good for Beau Peep, as there is always the pub to go to!

There are many other Charaters in the Legion to, most of them out to make Beau Peeps life a little tougher.

He has to go on regular missions to spy on the enemy, and always gets caught, but escapes by blubbering like a baby.

There are some characters in the desert to that they encounter, including an ugly Nomad with a big nose, either seeking a quick buck, or the blood of a legionnaire.

It's a well written comic series, and has been around for many years.

There are some great laughs in the pages, and if you're thinking of joining the foreign legion, then consider these comics essential reading.

Egon the Chef is a filthy but loveable cook.

His specialty cooking meal is mince. But he is an imaginate cook, he can mix mince, with lager, turnip, chocolate, tined tuna. All to the delight of the legionaires of course!  :)

His kichen is filthy, and rats are stored in the soup, while the eggs are at least fresh, but only cause the hen has just laid one. 

He loves sherry, and when it comes time to organise the forts food list, there is only 1 thing he needs to order, a case of sherry.

      Beau's camel is actually called Sopwith, named after the famous WW1 aeroplane.
