Get some of Gina's hair crack conditioner! Gina (Queen Latifah, Taxi, Barbershop2: Back in Business, The Cookout) is a single mom and full time hairstylist with phenomenal abilities and has aspirations of one day owning her own hair salon. After being fed up with her neurotic boss Jorge (Kevin Bacon) for the last time, she gets extremely aggravated and quits.
Fabulous funky styles, colors, long fake locks and more! You will appreciate this hilarious comedy-drama much more than (Barbershop). Gina finally gets a loan for her very own salon, but can only afford an old dilapidated 1970's style shop. With the help of friends, family, and a new neighbor, she is back in business and this time for herself!
She turns her new place into a hip, fresh new beginning for herself and her co-worker (Alicia Silverstone, Clueless). Once things get settled all of her old clients (Andie MacDowell and Mena Suvari) start going to her salon instead of Jorges. This infuriates Jorge and forces him to take action against Gina.
Join the fun in this hilarious film, about life, love, and fantastic HAIR! Kevin Bacon and Queen Latifah are like two peas coming from very different pods. When they clash together you'll be laughing extra hard!
This one is worth watching, at least once.
