Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe are four performing actors and actresses which are currently residing in Australia. Blanchett and Jackman plus Kidman are all Australians while Russell Crowe was born in New Zealand. Kidman is both American Australian by the way but they all call Australia their home. I consider them as the best Australian actors and actresses in Hollywood.

Hugh Jackman is a versatile, intelligent and very talented producer, actor, singer, dancer who appeared in opera, musicale and movies. Most of his films are action, love and science fiction. I love him best as Wolverine in X-Men series, and as Leopold in “Kate and Leopold” and a monster killer named Gabriel Van Helsing in the film “Van Helsing“. Dubbed as the sexiest man alive in 2008 by the “Open Salon” and People Magazine. Nobody argued about that claim.

What makes him more endearing is he seems to be very loyal to his wife of 13 years. He has two children by her, a boy and a girl.

Russell Crowe is an actor singer and songwriter which became famous in Hollywood because of his movie Gladiator (2001), A Beautiful Mind (2002). He first appear in Hollywood movie in 1997 in L. A. Confidential. He was born in Wellington, New Zealand and is currently married with children since 2003. According to him, he became a good person after he was married, before that, he was into a lot of controversial activities as he is hot tempered.

Also in 1992 Crowe starred in Romper Stomper which follows the exploits and downfall of a racist skinhead group in blue-collar suburban Melbourne, for which Crowe won an Australian Film Institute award for Best Actor, following up from his Best Supporting Actor award for proof 1991. He won Best actor at BAFTA for his film "A Beautiful Mind".

He was born in New Zealand but went to Australia to pursue his career in acting. Crowe is not new to acting as his grandparents had been a producer, and he comes from a well to do family, his parents are set caterers for movie productions.

She was married to Tom Cruise for a decade and has two adopted children by him. She is magnificent in her film “Australia” in 2008. She garnered Oscars best actress award in her performance in the movie "The Hour". She is also stunning and beautiful.

She was still in love with Tom Cruise when they got a divorced in 2001 and she said "He was huge; still is. To me, he was just Tom, but to everybody else, he is huge. But he was lovely to me. And I loved him. I still love him." In addition, she has expressed shock about their divorce.

At present she is a wife to a country singer and New Zealand born Keith Urban and they have a one baby girl together, Sunday Rose. I like Nicole Kidman as a fashion icon and always wait in anticipation for what she is going to wear on awards night. I also like her in the horror film “The Other” and “Panic Room”.

In 2008, she also acted as Daisy Fuller in film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. She is also known and became famous for her portrayals of a queen elf in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Colonel-Doctor in Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls.

She has won many awards most notably two SAGs, two Golden Globe awards, two BAFTAS, an Academy award as well as the Volpi Cup at 64^th Venice international Film Festival.
