Bill Cosby's Battle with The Elite

Updated on January 29, 2015

Bill Cosby's Troubled Legacy

Americans know Bill Cosby as an intellect, full of clean, old-fashioned humor, civil responsibility and child-like affection. But, these days, he’s been more of a media sensation than the family-oriented household name we’re used to. Is Cosby really a bad guy? Or, is his battle with the Elite simply a ploy to tear down yet another black icon?

Who is Bill Cosby

Bill Cosby is an actor, renowned comedian, television producer, author, and so much more. Cosby is also a trailblazer, living legend in the Black Entertainment industry, and multiple Grammy and Emmy awards winner. So, why is Bill Cosby battling with the elite?

It could have to do with Cosby cracking rape jokes during one of his performances onstage. Or, maybe it’s related to more and more women coming forward with rape allegations. The Guardian reported on a comment the comedian made during a January 8 performance in Ontario, Canada:

“A woman who got up from one of the front rows and walked past the stage was asked by Cosby where she was going. When she answered that she was going to the lobby to grab a drink, Cosby responded: ‘You have to be careful about drinking around me.’”

The audience gasped, then applauded Cosby.

Bill Cosby VS the Liberal Elite Powers That Be

The liberal elite power brokers in the Democratic Party will now allow Bill Cosby to call for responsibility to get a foothold in the black community. This is only because it threatens the strong grip they have over the black voters. However, they are not as bad as the left side, which has been viciously attacking Cosby since the first batch of women started coming forward a few months ago.

Now, the Elite has decided to take the blame off the blacks and blame white America. Cosby is being used as a scapegoat by both sides, to say the least. Yet, the Elite have another issue at hand. They are trying to discredit and destroy the lifelong legacy of The Great Bill Cosby. They not only want him to suffer mentally and publicly, but also financially. Everyone, including his rape accusers, knows that Bill Cosby has a net worth of $500 million.

What Do These Rape “Victims” Really Want from Cosby?

For example, Marc Strecker, the attorney for Ruth Huth, one of his accusers, approached Cosby a few weeks ago demanding $100,000 to bring their lawsuit to a halt. However, they then raised their price to $250,000. Now, evidence has surfaced that Huth tried to actually sell her story the tabloids almost a decade ago. This is a prime example of extortion and trying to tarnish a legacy.

Radical feminists are always accusing the male population of supporting a “rape culture.” They automatically accuse anyone who challenges or even questions a woman’s allegations. Nevertheless, it is near impossible for men to discuss or even defend themselves against these accusations.

During the last several months, more and more women have been coming forward with rape allegations against Bill Cosby. As of today, he has never been charged with any of the alleged crimes that have been brought up in the press. However, he did settle a civil lawsuit out of court in 2004.

The Legacy of Bill Cosby VS His Battle with the Elite

After his January 8 Ontario, Canada performance, Cosby did thank the audience for their honor and support. You can really tell that he truly appreciated his fans. He knows that without his fans, there is no Bill Cosby, the icon… the mentor… the superstar.

Cosby has lost a sitcom deal and more money than anyone can imagine within the last few months because of the rape allegations. But, he is still onstage, cracking jokes (about rape nonetheless). Most importantly, he’s keeping his legacy, which is much older, and much, much bigger than him, alive and well in 2015.

Do you think Bill Cosby’s battle with the Elite will destroy his legacy?
