People Magazine has chosen their Sexiest Man Alive for 2011 and this year it’s Bradley Cooper. Although Bradley Cooper is a handsome guy again I am slightly disappointed by People’s decision. There are so many others who deserve the recognition and I would love to see a little bit of diversity in the choice. Bradley Cooper is having a banner year this year with the movies The Hangover Part II and Limitless as well as being linked to the very sexy Jennifer Lopez. Bradley Cooper seems like a very humble person when it comes to his looks so maybe it is fitting that he wins this award.

Bradley Cooper was born January 5, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cooper started his career on the television show Sex in the City and got our attention with the movie The Hangover. Cooper has been linked romantically to several actresses.

MOVIES:

He’s Just Not That Into You (2009) –

Bradley Cooper plays Ben a married man who is contemplating having an affair with a very attractive woman who is trying to become a singer. The movie follows several characters through their complicated lives.

Hangover (2009) -

Bradley Cooper plays Phil one of three hung-over groomsmen. The night before the groomsmen threw a crazy bachelor party for their friend in Las Vegas but when they wake up they realize that they do not know where the groom is or what happened the night before. They must find the groom and get him back to his wedding on time.

All About Steve (2009) -

Bradley Cooper plays Steve a cameraman who is being followed by a quirky and obsessed woman, Mary, after one short date. Mary tries to convince Steve that they are meant to be together.

Valentine’s Day (2010) -

Bradley Cooper plays Holden Wilson a businessman one of the many characters who finds and loses love on Valentine’s Day.

The A Team (2010) -

Bradley Cooper plays Templeton “Face” Peck one of a group of Special Forces who are sent to military prison for a crime they did not commit. The team breaks out to clear their names and end up cracking another case wide open.

Limitless (2011) -

Bradley Cooper plays Eddie Morra; an author that has writer’s block and no novel. Eddie runs into an old friend who introduces him to a new drug that enables his brain to work at 100 percent. The down side of the drug are the side effects and Eddie’s supply is about to run out.

The Hangover Part II (2011) -

Bradley Cooper plays Phil again as the friends get together for another friend’s bachelor party. This time the party is supposed to be a simple brunch in Bangkok but turns into a crazy wild weekend that outshines the Vegas bachelor party.

TELEVISION:

Sex and the City (1999)

I Want to Marry Ryan Banks (2004)

Jack & Bobby (2004-2005)

Law & Order (2005)

Alias (2001 – 2006)

Kitchen Confidential (2005 – 2006)

Nip/Tuck (2007 – 2009)

LOVE CONNECTIONS:

Jennifer Esposito (2005 – 2007)

Denise Richards (2009)

Renee Zellweger (2009 – 2011)

Jennifer Lopez (2011)

I am not surprised that Bradley Cooper was picked as the Sexiest Man Alive because there has been so much buzz about him lately. His career seems to be just taking off and hopefully he will be around for a while. Although I am ok with this year’s choice I am still interested in seeing a bit more diversity in the choices that are made by People Magazine. Here’s to 2012 being my year.

I was disappointed. I think that they could have chosen someone younger like Justin Timberlake or Ryan Gosling. They've had very good years and I'm quite sure they're going to be around for a while. Bradley Cooper? I'm not so sure about. He's more of a nice guy but his movies haven't really impressed me too much. Interesting hub.
