Bumper Sticker No Nos

 

Ok, so I am sitting in a drive through today behind a car that has a bumper sticker that says, "My other ride is your husband." First, let me get on my soapbox about bumper stickers for a moment. 90% of them simply illustrate how immature and uneducated many people are. Whenever I see a sticker that says, "P*&S on Ford", or "If you're gonna ride my ass at least pull my hair" (my personal favorite), I think "Wow. I so do not want to know that person. If they are that lame on a bumper sticker imagine how they are in real life."

So when I saw this one today, which I will admit was the first time I had seen that particular sentiment, I kind of chuckled and then had my usual self righteous moment where I thought "Wow that's one classy chic!"

So then I glance at the driver (who appears to be a man) and I think "I wonder what he thinks of that. Maybe he thinks it's funny because he is someone else's husband" [This is my inner monologue here]. Then, he turns around and I realize it's not a man....it is a very..um...masculine woman. So then I start laughing, because you see a sticker like that and you picture this bombshell homewrecker type chic driving (or at least I did) and instead it is a woman who is sooo not a bombshell that when she says "My other ride is your husband" and you think to yourself "You wish honey." Or at least that's what I thought.

Ok not really a rant today, just a little peek at the inner random workings of my brain.
