Buy the Supernatural DVD series - Season 1, 2, 3 and 4

Updated on November 6, 2010

The Supernatural series follows two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who fight evil supernatural forces. They travel around the US in their 1967 Chevy Impala, following leads and helping out all sorts of damsels in distress. Of course they help out us normal folks too.

They lost their mother to some supernatural force, when they were just kids. Ever since then their father raised to fight off this evil, and hunt for it. Sam decides he wants a different life for himself, and takes of to college. But when his girlfriend dies in the hands of the same thing that killed his mother, he comes back. He teams up with Dean, and together they set out to find their missing father.

The show is quite scary at times, it had me watching through my fingers several times, because I covered my face with my hands. But it is also quite funny. They get into weird situations and especially Dean often brings comical relieve of the tension. And of course both brothers are a treat to the eye. So go and get your copies of the dvd’s now.

Supernatural season 1

This season starts out with Sam losing his girlfriend to the same monster that killed their mother, and also the same monster their father has been hunting ever since. So after their father goes missing, Sam and Dean set out to find him and kill this monster. On their way following their fathers tracks all through the US, they encounter Bloody Mary, the Hookman, a Werewolf (or Wendigo), and all sorts of other dangerous supernatural creatures.

Supernatural season 2

This season sees Sam and Dean continue to hunt evil and try and find their father. You meet some of their hunter friends. And you find out a little more about the thing that killed their mother and Sam’s girlfriend. It also sees the tension between the brothers grow as the evil thing plan plays out. They finally find their father, but what happens next, nobody could have foreseen...

Supernatural season 3

The evil that killed their mother is vanquished. But at a terrible price. A lot of new evils were released unto the earth, and Sam is gone. Dean makes a deal to get him back, but at what cost? Can Dean be saved?

Supernatural season 4

Dean comes back from hell, but is he really back? And what is Sam not telling him? The angels saved Dean, but the expect something in return. In between fighting huge teddybears, Dracula, and lots more demons and spirits, they try to save the world from the apocalypse and the release of Lucifer.

I would advise you to get all four seasons at once, because once you start watching, you won’t be able to stop. If you are not quite convinced yet, get season 1 and let Sam and Dean do the talking!

I love this show. I have all of the DVD sets except the new season 5. I guess that one will go on my Christmas wish list.
