Canon Effect
“It was the most beautiful sound in the world…It was part Mathematics…
and part euphoria…”
Many hear it anywhere but to me it has that effect…something that makes me fall in love and pinch my heart deeply at the same time.
It was my first time to touch a piano, same time when I first heard that beautiful music. I knew it was special and the unknown effect that I didn’t understand, I knew I had to find out…
They play it in wedding march, too. And people who take up piano lessons often play it in their recitals. Odd that from all the people I’ve met playing piano, I’ve never heard them play this piece. :c
My Sassy Girl had it in my fave scene. In case you’re wondering, My Sassy Girl is a Korean movie (that soon had an English remake). But I recommend the Korean one, trust me. And Kyle XY, had it too. (see the first video)
And what’s this Canon I’m talking about?
For chocolate’s sake, it’s the most famous piece of music by Johann Pachelbel, a German Baroque composer. If you want more history about his Canon in wiki, click here.
