I went into this movie hoping for amazing things. My hopes were fulfilled, and then some. This movie was action packed, a cliffhanger thriller, and a jaw dropping moment every few minutes. The action was steady from beginning to finish, with gripping and witty dialog interspersed between and sometimes during the action sequences.Winter Soldier and the corrupt SHIELD agents all make epic and tragic villains. One of the many themes of the movie was people being forced to not trust and maybe fight their closest friends. Fury outright says this when he tells Rogers to "Trust No One." We are wondering through the whole movie just how many people we ourselves can trust, and finding out that several minor characters that we'd grown fond of during the MCU story are Hydra. So the audience is shocked and amazed with each new revelation, right along with the characters on the screen. Every single acting job in the movie was spot on, from the headliners to bit parts. And in full honesty, this is the first film in which Johansson actually fully feels like Romonoff to me. She was always beautiful, and badass, but she just wasn't the Black Widow. But in this one, she actually pulls that off, and it is wonderful. I am truly hoping she gets a solo movie, or maybe a duo one with Hawkeye. I wish Hawkeye had made an appearance in this movie as well, and it kind of doesn't make sense that he didn't. Almost every other major S.H.I.E.L.D. operative is here. But that is perhaps the only disappointment here.I'm not sure which character was a bigger awesome addition to the universe for me, Falcon or Winter Soldier. Both were well acted and well depicted. I never would have guessed either one would be in a movie, if anyone had asked me ten years ago. Now we have both, brilliantly portrayed, in a huge movie universe starring most of the Avengers characters. It is a wonderful time to be a Marvelite. Hail Hydra.

I'm not getting too much into detail on this, as I don't want to spoil all the surprises. I think it's safe to say that the storyline is basically Captain America fighting against Hydra forces within SHIELD and the government. He fights the heavy hitter of Hydra, The Winter Soldier, who turns out to be someone from his past. That's the Cliff's Notes version. All of you should absolutely go see this movie. And watch Agents of SHIELD every Tuesday on NBC. Oh, and make sure to stay for both after credit scenes in Winter Soldier. They are both epic...
