Look at the old-timers commenting here...I miss these people....but your poetry lives on, and for that I am grateful.

That is funny that he would run in to use the litter box. Guess he was lucky to find you!

Kari thank you for finding this. The cat was a stray in the full sense of the word. He just kept hanging around until he finally moved in with me and my other three cats. I thought he was just some feral scaredy cat, but he settled right in. I laughed when he would run inside to use the litter box. Grey Boy lived out all of his nine lives and then some, but finally succumbed to dangers of the wild. I don't know if he was poisoned or killed by dogs, but I found his body and brought him home to rest close beside this cherry tree. Appreciate your comments. The white gardens poem was taken from a list of favorite white flowers. Sometimes you've just gotta go with what you've got.

Ha, ha! Hi Epi, watch out that Gabe don't get you tangled up in his walking every which way, gravity is heavy, I've learned from experience...Thanks for dropping by. I am officially offline for awhile, just over at my neighbours checking in to see what's new, so I am having to write by hand, what a concept! Not using a quill, but have ink stains on these writer's hands, been reading an anthology of poetry from highschool. I didn't really appreciate it then, but I sure do now. American poets are next. Who knows, I may be inspired to write something. Sorry about your love life, hope things improve with the Spring thaw lol.

I love your dreamy hub presentation here because it captures an indelible moment(s) in time with the one you love.

Sending warm wishes and good energy to you from lake erie time ontario canada 4:54pm - cold, frozen, snowy, no I am not talking about the weather I am talking about my love life - lol

and just came back from my walk with the Gabe man - although he doesen't walk properly like a dog - he wanders all over the place and I have to follow like his valet.

Well thank you H Terrier, hope all is well with you. I snuck a look at your profile and see you are very fond of small birds, so I appreciate you checking out the cat and blossom photos. This cat is much too pampered and lazy to bother with birds anyway.

Thank you Peg, you are always so supportive, much appreciated. This cat is like a little gift from God in a furry, purry package. I am not sure what I did to deserve him. He is like a wise little buddah cat. I can't describe it.

The cherry blossoms always remind me of a time I traveled to Washington DC with the school chorus on a train. We were surrounded by them. I love this cat. Such a sweet kitty. He's really playful and beautiful. Lovely hub. I had to come for another visit.

Thank you Lucky Cats. This 'pretty' kitty was a mangy stray Tomcat that kept hanging around so I lured him in and caught him with a can of tuna...took him to the vet and got him neutered (about a year ago) and he has turned into the most loving adorable pet, completely tamed, and rarely goes outside (had enough of that). So happy you enjoyed. I'm thinking we have a lot of cat adventures in common.

      Hello Snakeslane,

This is truly weird but for the last few days a cat that looks exactly like this one has been lying in front of the garage when I let the dogs out in the morning. He runs away at their barking but returns the next morning outside the fence. I've never seen him around here before. I'll try to get a picture of him.

Hello drbj, thank you very much. Lord of the Manor indeed. I have three other cats, who were here before this guy arrived, they keep him from getting too high and mighty. All the cats like to sit on that little table under the cherry tree. Apparantly they take turns.

Awww Jhamann, that's so sad, but so nice that you had Gregory for awhile. This cat was a gift, he just kept showing up until I finally tamed him, (the Tuna helped) he was pretty damaged, I think he had been caught in some kind of trap, he had big gaping wounds across both sides of his neck, it's amazing he lived. Now he is such a pussycat, loves his new home. Runs inside to use the indoor plumbing (litter box) too funny...

Good morning Hyphenbird, yes, these were taken 10 days ago (how time flies) and everything has changed. Now tiny little cherries are hanging on the tips of the fragile stalks. (More photos?) Thank you for enjoying the moment.

Hello Ms always, I wonder what the cat is thinking too! He seems so content. A year ago he was a feral cat on the prowl in the neighborhood. I rescued him, got him (bad word) neutered, and he turned into a permanent house guest who only ventures out now for photo ops, lol.
