Chad OchoCinco - Child Please!

Updated on June 15, 2011

For the Nay-Sayers

Are you one of those people who think that Chad's best years are past him? Child Please! Think your team's cornerbacks can cover OchoCinco with out help? Child please, but go ahead and try it anyway. Think your team can keep him out of the end zone? Child please, not without a double team, but then someone else like T.O., Gersham, Benson, Shipley will. Can't key on them all. Think your team can? As the great OchoCinco says "Child Please!"

Now all of you people that think that think that his on field and off field antics are stupid and bad, Child Please! I think that he has made some very intelligent moves in marketing himself while saying child please to the NFL establishment.

First in marketing himself Chad Johnson is a common name, so the name change to Ochocinco makes good marketing sense. You will never make the mistake of mixing his name with another Chad Ochocinco will you? Brilliant move. For all you out there that say ochocinco is not 85 in Spanish, Child Please! If you may like it, or hate it, or think that he is stupid, then you have an opinion and have been drawn into the OchoCinco phenomenon

Touchdown celebrations, Chad had the whole NFL audience waiting to see what he would do next. Some loved the celebrations, some hate them, but everyone knew about them and had an opinion. The NFL created rules in order to tame Chad, Child Please,he found ways to out smart them. Now the NFL keeps Chad under a microscope. Every time he is fined, it is like an advertising campaign. Who doesn't know about Chad getting fined $25,000 for tweeting during the Eagles preseason game? A story on every major television network, newspaper and news site on the Internet. Did a Google search on "chad 25000 twitter fine" and got back 416,000 hits. What company wouldn't pay $25,000 for that type of exposure? Chad is a marketing genius, and for all of the non believers, Child Please!

Child Please, what does it mean?

You may find yourself wondering what the phrase Child Please means.  While I could tell you, let Chad himself explain it in the below video.

Sports Soup - Child Please

Don't think that Ochocinco's marketing is doing the trick?  Chad's saying "Child Please" is now the title of a short commentary by Chad on subjects of the NFL and anything else that Chad ay want to talk about.  These clips are halarious! You have got to watch!

Billy, I agree with you 100% I hope Chad will stand resalute against the NFL and their rules that are designed to suck the life out of the players and the league. His tweet during the Game was a good start

I think NFL needs people like Chad - it is becoming devoid of characters and so corporate - now I know what Child Please means....

I always love Chad's endzone celebrations! In fact, I was ticked off when they decided to take away the football as part of the celebration!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. On the field I like Chad for his work ethic and his passion. Off of the field I believe that he is one of the smartest NFL players when it comes to marketing himself. Some love him, some love to hate him, but everyone knows of him. When his football career is over, he will have no problem transitioning into whatever he decides to do.

Chad OchoCinco was a super sweet man when he competed on dancing with the stars. A real mans man,...the women loved as well! The Bengals uniform does look good on him! Neat hub.
