Experience the Magic of EDC Las Vegas
Electric Daisy Carnival: The Break Down
Insomniac events hosts The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) festivals every year in various locations throughout the UK, USA, and Puerto Rico. Having once been a one-day event, EDC began expanding and grew into a popular two-day event in 2009. Since then, the festival has multiplied in growth. The Las Vegas location in particular is probably the largest one bringing in over 400,000 people in 2014 over the course of their three-day festival at the end of June. EDC brings in some of the biggest producers in the electronic dance music industry which in turn attracts more and more fans to their festivals.

This is just to give you an idea of the kind of talent you'll be able to witness here at EDC. There are over 200 producers at these festivals and I doubt any one of them will leave you disappointed.
I personally have yet to attend an EDC festival but I will be at my computer at 3 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014 ready to buy my three-day pass the second they go on sale. Tickets range from about $329-$349 depending on when you buy them and what the availability is. VIP tickets are available to the 21+ crowd for $699. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster. I am a huge festival lover and I doubt I will come anywhere close to being unimpressed by it. This might not quite fit in your budget, but there are many other festivals you can experience this summer for a more affordable price. I listed a few of my favorites below. Going to festivals isn't cheap, besides the actual ticket price there are many other expenses to take into consideration. If it is a non-camping festival you need to save money for lodging. Travel, whether it be plane tickets or gas money, can be very pricey. Food is an obvious must-have. And I know most people enjoy dropping a fair amount of cash on outfits, accessories, alcohol and other miscellaneous expenses. Just be smart about your spending, and set a budget for yourself ahead of time or else you'll literally be paying for your festival long after it ends!
