Ashley heads back to Genoa City for November Sweeps

Soaps She Knows at Soaps.com indicates that their spoiler alerts for The Young and the Restless another daytime drama programs come straight from the CBS studio and therefore have been accurate. The current news being reported is that Eileen Davidson will reprise her role as Ashley Abbott during November Sweeps. Jack will have surprising news for his family during the week of November 4-8 and his sister will have a shocker of her own when she returns to Genoa City around the 11th of the month.

Soap Dirt confirms that Ashley will return to Genoa City for both personal and professional reasons. The spoiler says that Ms. Abbott is coming back to town to discuss the revelation of her new half-sibling and that Eric Vanderway will be seen in flashbacks. She will also meet her nephew, Theo, and will more than likely welcome him with open arms as did Jack. This will no doubt cause problems with Kyle who wants nothing to do with his new cousin. There have been no revelations, however, relating to the business that Ashley will discuss with her family. Fans of Ms. Davison will be elated that she has returned to The Young and the Restless no matter what her storyline will be.

The Young and the Restless is going through changes

The Young and the Restless has been going through a lot of changes during the past few years. During Mal Young's reign as head writer, there was complete chaos on the CBS daytime drama. Doug Davidson was let go as Paul after four decades, Victor and Nikki began an open marriage, Michael, Lauren and other veterans were practically non-existant in Genoa City. There was a storyline where Ashley tricked Jack into believing John Abbott was not his biological father and new characters like Kerry and the Rosales family were placed front and center. Viewers became angry and the ratings. Loyal fans called for Mal Young to be removed from his position and he was.

By that time, however, Mishael Morgan and Eileen Davidson had left The Young and the Restless and Christel Khalil went on recurring status. The rumor mill suggested that Mal Young was not treating the female cast members with respect but this was never confirmed. After Young was fired, both Morgan and Davidson returned to Genoa CIty and the fans are enjoying them. Ashley and Jack had a bitter fight but later patched things up. Now that Davidson is returning home, her big business news could be just about anything.

It's unlikely at this point that Ashley would attempt a takeover of Jabot but she could decide to leave Paris and work in the family business again alongside Kyle and Billy. She might also be returning to Genoa City to assist her daughter Abby with The Gran Phoenix Hotel. Chelsea is wanting Abby to buy her out so Ms. Newman could ask her mother to take a chance on her newest venture. Please keep in mind that this is speculation and nothing has yet been confirmed,

Ashley's business news will be huge

The fact that Eileen Davidson is returning to The Young and the Restless during November Sweeps speaks volumes. This suggests that her news related to the business world will be huge. Daily Soap DIsh suggests that Ashley may help Jack and Traci uncover more information for the Abbott family memoirs, but the news about the child Dina gave up for adoption probably won't be topped. More than likely Ashley will be on hand to learn more about Theo and his father and to announce some big change with the Paris office of Jabot.

Fans would love it if Davidson returned full time to The Young and the Restless or if Ashley was seen even a little bit more in Genoa City. At some point, Dina's Alzheimer's will run its course and the entire Abbott clan will need to be on hand to mourn her. In the meantime, Ashley might be needed to assist her siblings in keeping Kyle in line. He is overlooking the fact that Theo is a blood relative and continues to insist that young Mr. Vanderway will attempt to somehow extort money from the family and obtain an inheritance.

Be on the lookout for additional spoiler alerts related to Eileen Davidson's return to The Young and the Restless during the week of November 11th. As the date nears, there may be additional news such as how long she will stick around and the nature of her character's business and personal reasons for being in Genoa City. Whatever is bringing Ashley back home from Paris, her fans will be grateful to see her interacting with loved ones once again. You can catch the CBS daytime drama at 12:30 PM EST Monday through Friday.
