Elton John's Boycott of Dolce & Gabbana Over "Synthetic" Babies Remarks
So Dolce & Gabbana really pissed off Elton John! Apparently, according to the fashionable brand, in vitro or so called "synthetic" babies are not cool. Apparently, there is something inherently wrong and unnatural with gay couple adopting children and taking them away from their biological mothers. Well, I can definitely see why the gay entertainer Elton John would be so upset by this. He just recently married his male partner and they do have adopted children. Elton John dissed Dolce & Gabbana claiming their fashion is as outdated as their beliefs.
Now let's face it, Dolce & Gabbana is a big expensive fashion brand worn by many a celebrity. I guess while they may lose some celebrity and non celebrity clientele, they will never entirely go out of business. I guess if their clothing were really ugly and outdated, this brand would not be so popular and expensive. I think this madness is temporary. Once Dolce & Gabbana publicly apologizes to all the gay couples out there, things should be back on track.
In my personal opinion, while I think a traditional marriage is preferable in terms of creating a healthy stable environment for a child, I also know that some straight couple can be abusive and neglecting of their children. It is better to give a child a gay family that loves them and takes good care of them, rather than a straight family that does not care about them and does not want them.
As far as artificial babies, well it is not the ideal way to conceive, but for many couples it is the only option as far as having children. Sex is not always love. I think going through the troublesome process of in vitro is enough of a loving act in itself. Actually, Dolce & Gabbana were not always against in vitro themselves, so they whole thing is kind of hypocritical.
