Throughout the eight movies, viewers watch Watson, Radcliffe and Grint, as well as the other actors and actresses grow up at Hogwarts and mature. This coming-of-age comedy-drama is based on the epistolary novel by Stephen Chbosky. In this film, it focuses on the hardships and awkwardness of life as a high school student. As Watson's character, Sam, befriends the new freshman Charlie, they both learn valuable things about life together.

Ila portrayed by Emma Watson

Noah (2014)

In this drastically altered version of the Noah's Ark story from the Old Testament, Emma Watson plays the role of Ila who is the wife of Noah's son Shem. In this intense remake of an ancient story there are dramatic battle scenes, the building of the ark and the flood. Did I forget to mention that Watson's character Ila is carrying Shem's twins and Noah wants to murder them? Many people dislike the film because of its variation from the Bible. However, if you look at the movie as a separate thing then it is actually a really well done action film. Watson's acting abilities shine in this more mature film.

He fights against the oppressive government. While V tricks her into thinking she has been captured by the goverment in order to toughen her up and make her stronger, Evey is angry (with good reasons) and runs away from V, but of course finds herself drawn to him again and again. She was constantly being trained with the stunt team and other actors to learn how to fight on the big screen. I think it's safe to say that all that training definitely paid off in the end.

Avatar (2009)

Neytiri portrayed by Zoe Saldana

Neytiri is strong, brave and yet she falls in love with a mere human. Saldana plays this character to perfection. It's easy to forget that the Naavi are just human actors and actresses in front of a green screen. This film did an awesome job at picking actors who could play the part of this foreign race. Saldana brings an odd, savage like feeling to Neytiri's character while still making her likable.

Emma Watson a winning combination of beauty and brains. Whilst we hear about Ms Watson only seldom in the media, she does have a considerable fan base numbering in the thousands. I was pleased to read a magazine recently (forgotten the one) in which Emma Watson espouses her views on gender, relationships and womanpower. Little wonder Ms Watson is currently ranked as 26th of the most influential people in the world.
