Trailer, Poster & Details About the Upcoming Live-Action Reboot of Classic Disney THE LION KING

The first poster has just arrived for the live-action reboot of Disney's THE LION KING

It's really quite simple, The Lion King is not only one of the greatest animated films of all time, but it's also one of the best films in existence. I have watched the film countless times, and I have seen both adults and children get (including myself) reduced to tears. You all know the scene...don't you? admit it! Yes, it's when Simba loses his father, Mufasa (James Earl Jones) at the vicious paws of his jealous, treacherous, deceitful and back-stabbing uncle, Scar (Jeremy Irons).

The whole film from beginning to end was just genius. It was every ingredient for a masterpiece, and each ingredient was mixed to precise perfection. Not to mention, one of the catchiest and highly addictive soundtracks to ever hit our screens.

The Lion King was first released 1994. The original went on to spawn some sequels and a series but none of them re-captured the magic of the first.

Here is what we have in The Lion King franchise so far:

  • The Lion King (1994)
  • The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998)
  • The Lion King 1½ (2004)
  • The Lion King (2019)

TELEVISION

  • The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar (2015)
