Frankenstein Needs A New Brain
Frankenstein Needs A New Brain is claymation cartoon I recently made combining humor and action. Keep in mind it isn't a Hollywood production and I was working on it with only myself and my children but overall I think we did an OK job. It's bound to at the very least make you laugh. Which in this case is what we are going for.
As many know the original story of Frankenstein is one in which a doctor creates a monster like human being by combining the body parts of already dead cadavers. He then brings this creature to life with disastrous results. All in all a very depressing and dark story.
Frankenstein Needs A New Brain is a new twist on the old tale. In this cartoon our young hero, Hans, a lad of 18 years old has been captured and will soon be forced to donate his brain to Frankenstein. Victor, the evil doctor seems insistent that the half brain that he gave Frankenstein originally really needs to be replaced. Being the rapscallion that Hans is he has a little fun with the evil doctor and then manages to wake up Frankenstein who is not impressed. Click on the video to watch the chaos that ensues.
The making of this cartoon was with clay characters that myself and my family constructed and the backgrounds were made by myself on the day I did the filming. Everything is done in stopmotion animation and put together picture by picture in Adobe Premiere CS5 and sound was edited/recording using Audacity.
More cartoons are being worked on as we speak.
