GODZILLA VS KONG: Everything You Need To know
It is official, Godzilla Vs Kong has officially begun production
The news has just dropped that principal photography has just begun in OZ and Hawaii on GODZILLA VS KONG.
The new mega-monster movie will be directed by Adam Wingard which marks his debut into mega-budget Hollywood features.
Wingard is mainly known for his work on indie hits You're Next, Dan Stevens stylish thriller, The Guest and more recently he adapted Japanese anime classic Death Note for Netflix.
Wingard, along with his filmmaking partner Simon Barret was also meant to adapt classic South Korean classic serial killer movie I Saw The Devil. I am guessing that this project is dead in the water, I have not heard of any progress in years.
Wingard has stated in an interview that GODZILLA VS KONG will not be a remake of the 1962 TOHO monster classic. He also stated that this film will tie in with Godzilla: King of the Monsters which releases this year and is the 35th film (wowzer) in the Godzilla franchise.
