The Vampire Diaries

Vampire craze has bitten in full circle. After Twilight and True Blood, here comes The Vampire Diaries. Have you watched the first three episodes y’all? If you did, I’m sure you’re hooked for more.

The Vampire Diaries is about a beautiful high school girl, Elena Gilbert, torn between two vampire brothers—one good, one evil.

Elena, (played by Nina Dobrev) falls in love with the gorgeous Stefan Salvatore (played by Paul Wesley) who is a centuries-old vampire. But Stefan's brother who's another hot and good looking vampire, Damon Salvatore (played by Ian Somerhalder) was captured by Elena's charmed. Find out what will happen in this romantic vampire story.

Twilight vs The Vampire Diaries

Twilight is a movie series while The Vampire Diaries, a TV series. Both were based on book series with their same title. Twilight was from Stephenie Meyer while L.J. Smith, who wrote the New York Times Best Seller Night World, also wrote The Vampire Diaries.

The two famous teen-vampire sagas have gained more fans especially with Twilight because it was the first one which has been put into a film. Many Twilight fans even make some not-so-nice comments to the author of The Vampire Diaries, comparing the two novels. Little that they know, The Vampire Diaries was released earlier than Twilight. And what would they say about The Vampire Diaries’ 4.8 million viewers on its first episode?

Anyway, whatever they say these two vampire stories are without a doubt addicting. And they have their own twist and turns plus some fresh sexy stars.
