Giselle Bundchen -- Supermodel Topnotch

Who wouldn't be popular if you are the wife of a handsome quarterback, but then Gisele Bundchen had made a name of her own in the modeling world. She is the image model of many fashion products including perfume, clothing etc. She is indeed a topnotch model beng the highets paid model for the past years.

Gisele Bündchen (born July 20, 1980) is the highest paid model according to the magazine “Forbes” up to this time January 2010. She is a Brazilian model and has a son with her husband football quarterback Tom Brady (New England Patriots team--USA National Football League (NFL)). She just gave birth to a baby boy named Benjamin, her first with her husband and the second son for Brady last December 2009. She is also gives to charity and appears in a minimal role in some movies like "The Devil Wears Prada". Before giving birth to his son, he acts as a good step mom to Brady's son by Brigdget Moynahan.

 

She grew up in Brazil and knows how to speak Spanish, Portuguese and English with her five sisters. She has also a beautiful face and one of the richest in the entertainment industry.

She is also a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) too.

Career as a model:

She started modeling when she moved to New York (NY) after she was discovered at McDonalds eating with her friends at a mall in Brazil. She also went to NY city there after winning a second place for “Look of the Year” contest. She has been the face of Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Dolce and Gabanna, Missoni, Versace, Givenchy, Bvlgari, Valentino, Victoria Secret, Louis Vuitton, Chloe and many other more including Citibank, Nivea and Apple Inc., among others.

It was Claudia Scjiffer who said that :"Supermodels, like we once were, don't exist any more" and reckoned that Gisele Bündchen was the only one close to earning the supermodel title and Naomi Campbell also said "Models need to earn their stripes - I just think the term is used a little too loosely. Kate Moss is obviously a supermodel but, after Gisele, I don’t think there’s been one.

On August 26, 2008, the New York Daily News, in a list, named Bündchen the fourth-most-powerful person in the fashion world.

She also give free services by lending her image to different organizations for charity purposes.
