Hawaii Five-O Season Two
Living in Hawaii does have its perks. The red carpet was rolled out across the sand at the premiere of Season Two of Hawaii Five-O. This event took place last Saturday in Waikiki. Thousands of fans were on location to meet with their favorite stars from the series, including Scott Caan, Alex O'Loughlin, Grace Park and Daniel Dae Kim.
I was excited to find out that Terry O'Quinn, who was one of my favorites from the show "Lost", will be a regular in the new series. What a great addition to the cast. O'Quinn won an Emmy for his portrayal of John Locke on "Lost". It should be quite a reunion for Terry and Daniel Dae Kim, who spent several years being lost.
It is also rumored that Lauren German will be joining the cast of Hawaii Five-O. Will there be some new romances?
You can see from the video below how excited the local fans are about the cast. Even the governor and the mayor of Hawaii joined in the fun. The show is seen in more than 200 international markets so they are also awaiting the second series.
Season One of Hawaii Five-O left on a tragic note with McGarret getting arrested for two murders (which included the Governor), Danny planning to leave Hawaii with his ex-wife, Kono getting arrested for stealing ten million - basically, there is no more Hawaii Five-O, so I am excited to see how they bring them back together. Just to whet your appetite, here is a couple of previews.
One thing for sure, the whole main cast of Hawaii Five-O will be back plus a few additions. Another regular is Masi Oka as Dr. Max Bergman, the coroner. Season one just started developing the characters of some of the actors, but season two promises to take care of that.
My favorite thing, since I live in Hawaii, is to try to figure out where they are shooting the scene. Occasionally I spot a familiar landscape, including Kamehameha Ridge in Hawaii Kai overlooking Makapu'u Beach, Makai Research Pier, Kualoa Ranch, The Hilton in Waikiki, Kewalo Harbor, Round Top Drive and the Tantalus LookOut, Kapiolani Park, Paradise Cove, the Banzai Pipline at Pupukea on the North Shore (close to where I live) and many more.
Besides Hawaii Five-O, I really enjoy Drop Dead Diva, and Army Wives. Hopefully I can get a few other things accomplished this fall.
