I do hate clowns, but I also enjoy horror films that involve them. I know it is weird. I am currently reading the book IT, and cant wait for the remake to come out. The original film scared me as a kid and kind of played a roll of why I don't really enjoy clowns.

IT, for me, is the scariest clown I have seen in a movie. I remember seeing this when I was younger, and it gave me nightmares for weeks. I am a lover of the book, so cannot wait for the new movie to come out.

Some other good titles are OUT OF THE DARK (1989) and THE CLOWN MURDERS (1974).

Clown horrify me and still I have been forced to see most of these movies. Even the ones that aren't that scary I hate just because of the clowns. I'm a baby when it comes to that haha. Great hub.

Nice one. Never realized there were so many "evil clown" movies, the only ones I've seen here are "It" and "Drive Thru" (which is frickin' hilarious by the way). Sounds like I'm not missing much by skipping some of the others (i.e. "Killjoy," "SICK," etc.) though!!

I know these all received pretty bad ratings haha. I think most horror movies do in general, but yes, in particular clown horrors. I enjoy them though, as with most horror films. I love movies in general :)

I watched Killer Klowns when I was younger and I loved it. Just realized it's not in the poll... but I hope to update this with more films so maybe I'll make another. I'm looking to get the 100 Tears film and Amusement mentioned earlier because they looked interesting when I watched the trailers on YouTube.

None of these movies got great ratings... so maybe clowns aren't meant for the big screen. I did however like "It". You hub is great and well presented ^_^

I was never a fan of clowns they are kind of creepy in their own favorite was "It"; I enjoyed the book as well as the movie!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've never heard of those but I will check them out for sure.

It looks like both did fairly well with the ratings and reviews on Amazon, especially for horror movies. 100 tears got 4 stars and Amusement got 3. This intrigues me and now I want to see both.

Cool hub with good recommendations. I would also add Amusement and 100 Tears to the list of clown horror movies.
