Hugh Jackman Wins Best Actor

People Magazine has chosen their Sexiest Man Alive for 2008, the 23rd person chosen for the Sexiest Man Alive is Hugh Jackman. Hugh Jackson is People Magazine’s 2008 Sexiest Man Alive and although I had some other choices I would have liked to see that I have written about previously in People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive like Will Smith who had an amazing year with movies and other successes Hugh Jackman is a worthy choice. Hugh Jackman is sexy and has done a great deal of work in theater, television and movies. This should not be a surprise simply because Hugh Jackman has been chosen as one of People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" 5 years in a row, 2000-2004, he is a popular choice with People Magazine as well as many women around the world. This sexy man has a great deal to offer; a family man, an actor, a singer and a talent.

Biography and Family:

Hugh Jackman was born October 12, 1968 in Sydney Australia to English parents. Hugh Jackman was the youngest of 5 children whose mother left the family when he was only 8 years old. While working on a television series in Australia he met his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and they have been married since 1996, the couple have two adopted children; Oscar Maximillian Jackman and Ava Eliot Jackman.

Career:

Hugh Jackman got his start in Australia on television as well as on stage and gained popularity in America with his role in X-Men as Wolverine with two sequels that were just as successful as the first. Although Van Helsing was not considered a success he is also known for his role as Van Helsing in this movie. Hugh Jackman has received numerous awards and nominations for his work which includes movies, plays and television.

This is a three part movie with three different stories along the same vein.

Hugh Jackman was definitely not the first person to come to my mind when it came to the Sexiest Man Alive for 2008 there of course were others that I would have chosen before him. However I do not think that People Magazine made a bad choice with choosing Hugh Jackman. Hugh Jackman is a versatile artist a singer and actor that can go from television to film and to stage; he is also a family man which makes him very well rounded. Hopefully we will see more of Hugh Jackman’s talent and sexiness around in more movies, plays and television soon.
