Humorously Flawed TV and Movie Listings
Every day newspapers and hospitality brochures across the globe provide consumers with guides that make our television viewing decisions easier. And most of the time these handy print guides are reliable, no-nonsense materials. But every now and then the people that write them print some big goofs. The following clippings are from my personal collection, and while a few might seem a bit irreverent, I present them for entertainment purposes. I hope you get a good-humored kick out of them as I have.
This first guide listing reminds us that there is truth in advertising.
While this one shows us that sometimes truth is in the eye of the guide writer.
Proving what we all suspected but were just too patriotic to say.
I used to watch The X-Files religiously, but to think I missed this enthralling episode!

There are three or four versions of this particular movie listing circulating the 'net. Makes you wonder if the writers may be in the tiny majority of people who have never even once seen this movie?
Yes, it is the name of an actual character from the show! But it is still good fodder for a dirty mind.
Must be something in the water...
When the newspaper owners are too cheap to hire a proof-reader, it shows, it truly, truly does.
I thought I watched this movie; but I don't remember the plot being anything like this!
