JC Gonzalez: Struggles and Career

Juan Camilo Gonzalez, a rising music and acting star, was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1990. He spent a few years of his early life in Colombia before his parents and siblings moved to Houston, Texas. Since then, JC grew up and spent the rest of his life till the present moment in America. In that case, JC had two cultural phases in his life; the initial Spanish culture and the Anglo-Saxon? culture. Lucky enough, he never dropped his native culture to fully adopt the American lifestyle as it an occurrence that comes along when people enter into a whole new world of its own beliefs and norms. He values both cultural extremes through his career in that he does part of his art in both English and Latin.

JC’Ss family moved to Texas when he was seven years old. This happened due to medical condition of his younger brother who had an illness and wanted medical attention. Meanwhile, while in America JC together with his family faced difficult financial moments before his mother secured an architectural job and his father became a businessman again. All along JC maintained his desire to become an actor one time in his life. He was the kind of a kid who had his things put together all the way up his growth. He already knew what he wanted to achieve in life and was readily going for it. More so, the difficulties his family was facing trying to get medical treatment for his sibling brother gave him motivation to push through life to achieve his dream.

Technically, JC’s interest for arts, music and acting begun way back in Bogota when he was a Catholic school student. Back then, he used to enjoy Catholic processions including choir rehearsals, recitation of Christmas songs and carols. Later on, while in Houston he could organizing for such events as family recitations of Catholic corals. Besides that, his interest for watching movies surpassed any other while in Clements High School. Following his completion of high school studies, JC had to face a different level of life. It was the eave of his artistic life. JC, right immediately after high school studies, moved from Texas to Los Angeles, California. That was the exact destination where his childhood dream lied. He landed in auditions job. He was handed a job by MTV to work in a reality show by the name “Making Menudo”. His role out there was to audition for the show. That was a special chance for him to penetrate into the dream world of his life. And that being said, “Making Menudo” had extra activities aside from just appearing on stage. Dancing and singing were part of this accompanied the show. So then through regular trainings, JC got to identify his interest in music. There and then he started putting in effort towards achieving other dream; the musical dream. Long before then, JC had been looking up to Justin Timberlake, Calle 13 and Lil Wayne. Unfortunately, he wanted to express his message in a poetic manner. This way, he would pass well the message he was passionate about, that was much more about feelings.

Additionally, JC grew up into two cultures. And for this reason, JC had to come across as a unique artist. At one point he had to deliver his content to the Anglo-Saxon fans and on the other he had to ensure that his native Spanish culture had a taste of his entertainments. None other than this reason saw him having to pick role models from another extreme and turned out that he did totally different music far away from theirs. His first album went by the name “AwakIn”. This was more of an inspirational targeting immigrants whom in America. It is of importance to note that this album was self-composed and written by JC. His fame surpassed when he released his new episode “2moons”. This was showcasing the fusion of Latin and American setting in music industry. In the meantime, JC grew in fame and popularity seeing him attend popular media platforms including NBC, ABC, Disney among others.

Life experience has had a number of lessons to offer for JC. He keeps the reservation that he has to continue working hard to ensure he attains professional excellence in his artistic career. He is not yet contented rather he feels that he still has got a lot to prove to the world. He appreciates culture in his genres and that is the exact point he has a strong connection to that the world should develop love for their culture and others’. He states that completeness of one’s life comes about when one is doing better what they love the most. In conclusion, JC’s struggles and his life in general is an inspiration to many.
