A Taste of the Past

The Kardashian-Jenner clan broke into the homes on E! on October 14, 2007, igniting a firestorm. From the very first episode this family displays a true lack of humanity, disrespect, and absolute delusion.

If your not familiar with this family, you've been blessed, keep it that way. But for those of you who are you are also way to familiar with how they got to be on T.V. to begin with. In 2007 Kimberly Kardashian, daughter of famed O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, is humiliated when Ray Jay releases a home video they shot in 2003 while dating. While the show attempts to chronicle this as a nonprofit, none attention seeking method, its clear in the end when Kim drops her suit and settles with Vivid Entertainment for $5 million that that was all they were after. And is quick to capitalize by posing in Playboy's December issue that same year.

While the show Keeping Up with the Kardashian's started its first season off with high ratings and watched by 1.3 million total viewers it has quickly plummeted dropping more then 20% over the last couple years. Is it finally time for this family to forever leave our television screens or will we be doomed for another 7 years?

Drama and Trouble

To be fair all families whether famous or not has its fair share of drama and trouble, but do you know a family that is more willing to showcase it and prosper from it?

Of course the list wouldn't be complete unless you started at the begining and saw just how much fake and wasted emotion is placed on being famous for being famous. No talents, skills, or significant accomplishment, just regular ole boring drama.

Kim Kardashian: Superstar netted $5 million

Kim dramatically attempts to replace momager Kris Jenner

Kris, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe lie to Bruce, jetting off to Mexico for a photo shoot that Bruce specifically disagreed with

Kim poses for Playboy's December Issue netting $250,000

The Kardashian kids exploit there late fathers passing for nothing more than ratings

Again another ratings score, Kourtney take a pregnancy test >negative

Khloe and Kourtney for more ratings assist a homeless man, while the results are great, the intentions are wrong

And finally for the end of 2007 they hit T.V. audience's with another sex scandal, this time its Kourtney's photos from a tender age of 16

If that was just 2007 can you believe what they have been doing for 7 years to keep audiences attention. How is it that a family full of obnoxious, rude, and disgusting behavior have made it so famous in a time when being famous attributes to some sort of contribution?

Sex Sells

In an industry where sex sells, have the Kardashian-Jenner clan figured out how to capitalize on it most? From face lifts, to botox, and cosmetic procedures in-between, is there nothing that we haven't seen from this family? How can one family be so vein and yet so many people flock to them, craving their "fashion"?

Among these and many other questions you've played around with, the final result always is SEX SELLS. But when your selling yourself as a sex item, you loose all moral grounding. There isn't anything you wouldn't do to be sought after. No matter the cost, financially or personally.

I have left out the Jenner girls as they are still developing and cannot be correctly figured. All averages are based in California.
